ACTA Go-To-Market Community Competition

Those of you who are avid ActaFi supporters know our 2022 was a year of heavy development that led to our successful testnet update in the second week of 2023 and now, to our next imminent update: the ActaFi DAO.&nbsp;

One of ActaFi’s pillars is security; as such, the ActaFi Ecosystem is currently in re-audit by our partner Hacken to ensure the safety of the ActaFi Users’ assets while interacting with the protocol.

In the meantime, we have been prepping the DAO and are here today to give you a complete rundown.&nbsp; So let’s dive in!

The most challenging obstacle when building a sophisticated DeFi ecosystem is navigating the intricate and precarious balance of its various elements; in other words, all smart contracts interact with each other and changes to one, often have cascading effects on the others which require further troubleshooting. Building an innovative DeFi ecosystem is additionally difficult as there are no outstanding industry examples to reference and learn from. This consideration leads us to the enigmatic history of the ACTA Token.&nbsp;

The ACTA Token was scheduled to go to market in February 2022, but the ACTA Token utilities weren't in place so we had to postpone the listing in order to be compliant with regulations.

In late February, changes were made within the team to ensure the developers understood every piece of the ActaFi Ecosystem puzzle. The changes had a positive effect and we are delighted with the outcome because it’s resulted in a rich and robust ecosystem that currently contains:&nbsp;

It took time to build out every piece of this complex and dynamic ecosystem, but we couldn’t be prouder of the outcome or more excited about our next steps.&nbsp;

We are fortunate that the ACTA Token presale investors in the Seed, Private, and Strategic sale rounds are a diverse group of industry leaders from Content Creators and KOLs to Influencers and Service Providers etc… These parties hold the Testnet Governor titles and will vote on whether the ACTA token will go to market or not as they are the parties most deeply invested in ActaFi, most knowledgeable about past and current market conditions, and in many cases are representing large communities whose investments they are responsible for. The DAO Governors will make the decision about the ACTA TGE and if it’s a vote in favor, then together ActaFi and its Governors will pool resources and begin executing all pledged services to make it a huge success.&nbsp;

Outdated Tokenomics &amp; Vesting Schedules?

The ActaFi tokenomics and vesting schedules were created for a release in the bull run when growth &amp; volume has a better potential outcome than in a bear market. With this in mind, the ActaFi DAO Testnet Governors will cast their votes on whether a revision of the TGE release and vesting schedules should be done in order to create something more viable and strategically aligned with the current market conditions. The revision will be effective on all the sales rounds, plus Team and Advisory tokens.

Currently, team tokens are scheduled to be released by price milestones and development milestones.&nbsp; At this stage, both ActaFi Swap and the ActaFi DAO have been delivered, so both development milestones would trigger the correlating team bonuses unless we revise all the vesting contracts; the decision is in the hands of the ActaFi DAO Testnet Governors.

The Minimum Result Required To Pass The Vote

A revision of the TGE release and vesting schedules for everyone requires a 51% vote 'YES' to be successful.&nbsp;

Once the vesting &amp; TGE release vote is resolved, we move forward with the TGE vote. This subject requires a 70% 'YES' to be successful, which determines whether ACTA will go to market in Q1 2023.

The Acta team will have no involvement in the voting and will rely entirely on the ActaFi DAO Testnet Governors to make this crucial decision, then execute as is fit to the DAO’s decision. Different strategies have been prepared for any potential outcome so that we can keep positive momentum and initiate execution immediately.&nbsp;

The ACTA Token TGE release will happen 1 hour after the mainnet launch of the ActaFi Ecosystem, followed by the ACTA Token listing within 24h. We will be hosting two competitions as a “thank-you” to our ever-loyal and passionate community members. The first will be a trading competition which will start upon the ActaFi Ecosystem launch. Additionally, we will be hosting an ACTA Token accumulation competition which will start once the ACTA Token gets listed. Acta Finance DAO Program Mainnet Rules

Until today, there was little information released regarding the ActaFi DAO Program, other than the levels and their required amount. Now, you know that the DAO Governors will help lead the decision-making process at pivotal crossroads.

In the future, the Governors will be able to offer proposals to the team and decide the minimum required % to succeed a vote, while every DAO title holder will be eligible to vote.&nbsp; Changes will require an analysis to review which other smart contracts would be affected by the requested changes.

Since we voted in April 2022 about whether we should go to the market in such bad conditions or not, (which got heavily voted against going to market), we had to set out a new goal/development milestones, where we would be less affected by the market conditions.

That means building out a lot of our ecosystem.

Up to this point, we have developed the smart contracts, which are being re-audited next Tuesday (17th).

We are confident that we have fixed 80+% of the issues, where the remaining 20% would be new small points that come to the surface.

Imagine launching a swap during the past 8 months. You would be struggling to get liquidity.

As we are a liquidity aggregator, we will not have this issue.

So a lot of things had to get developed/be in place as MVP, in order to not be afraid of the bear marketing from the company perspective and have growth chances and not just drop dead on launch.

We’ve just finished reflecting on some of the many feats we conquered as a team and community in 2022. Those of you who read our 2022 Recap &amp; New Year’s Goals blog post, know we have our sights focused on even greater accomplishments for 2023; in fact, we’ve launched into the new year at full speed to deliver ActaFi products to motivate the ACTA Token for the secondary market on listing. Today we’re proud to officially present you with our first testnet update of 2023 along with a glance at what’s to come. Let’s dive in!

The ActaFi Calculator is Now Available on Our Landing Page

Let’s warm up our 2023 releases with the ActaFi Calculator! The ActaFi landing page now has a calculator that shows a simulated result of a swap. Visitors can simulate a swap, check the estimated swap outcome, and in a moment determine if ActaFi Swap can offer the best result on the Avalanche blockchain.&nbsp;

The ActaFi Calculator uses the liquidity aggregator router to accurately compare ActaFi’s results with swapping on other popular exchanges such as Trader Joe, or Pangolin, to ensure we always give you more with the best rates!

Our goal of enhancing ActaFi Swap is well underway with our most recent upgrade taking it from a standard AMM to a powerful liquidity aggregator. We now upgraded the ActaFi Swap router to show where the liquidity is being aggregated from, which liquidity pool, and what amounts, in percentage.

This upgrade not only offers transparency but also helps traders keep an eye out for arbitrage opportunities. ActaFi Swap’s v2 upgrade is hereby complete making it independent from its liquidity providers.

Technical Analysis Charts Arrive On ActaFi Swap’s Pro View

It has always been a priority of ours to ensure the ActaFi Ecosystem combines multiple products and technologies in one place to provide the best, most convenient and most user-friendly experience. We’ve kept that priority in mind while updating ActaFi Swap’s Pro View with integrated TA Charts licensed directly from Trading View. Users are now able to perform Technical Analysis without leaving the ActaFi ecosystem, enabling them to retain uninterrupted focus on any potential swap opportunities.

We believe traders will excel the most if given easy access to effective professional tools so we’re providing them on ActaFi Swap!

What to Expect from the Next Testnet Upgrade - ActaFi DAO

The next testnet upgrade is expected to launch within two weeks from now and will contain the long-awaited ActaFi DAO Program! The designs are being developed currently and next week marks the start of integrating the DAO smart contracts to the front end.&nbsp;

It’s important to note that there are multiple stages so testing the DAO will take a few days. This process will be followed by our first DAO vote concerning the revision of the vesting schedules and the ACTA TGE!

In the meanwhile, the smart contract development team is working together with Hacken to polish the smart contracts, which will be ready by the 15th for the re-audit and to confirm our fixes to the smart contracts are viable.

2022 Recap & New Year's Goals

Acta Finance is preparing the marketing team to be at minimum capacity for the go-to-market campaigns and be prepared for the successful voting of the DAO on the ActaFi Testnet. As of today, we open 2 new positions in the marketing department: Social Media Manager and Technical Content Writer.

Last week’s FTX news did not distract the ActaFi team. While the market is digesting the aftershock, the team has been focusing to prepare the smart contracts for the ActaFi Ecosystem audit, performed by Hacken.io. All developed smart contracts will be submitted for an audit, inclusive the ones that don’t have a frontend yet, such as Farming and ActaFi DAO.

 Service providers, KOLs, Influencers, and Content Creators in the presale are getting whitelisted as governors to vote on operational decision-making in a transparent way and vote the ACTA Token to the market. The DAO Governors will first vote on the testnet if the vesting schedules will be revised to the current market conditions, prior to voting on the go-to-market. With the smart contracts audited, the team can focus on pushing the ActaFi Liquidity Aggregator to the mainnet so ActaFi Swap can start building up the exposure within the Avalanche ecosystem, before getting deployed on other EVM-compatible networks like Polygon, BNBChain, and Ethereum.

The Presale content creators have their task, the community gets incentivized for exposure, so what about the ActaFi marketing team I hear you ask?&nbsp;

The marketing team in the meanwhile has been preparing the go-to-market campaigns. A social engagement campaign is prepared and undergoing review on the rewards amounts, to ensure they are strategically in line with the secondary market strategy. While the presale content creators have their pledged services to perform, we incentivize and reward the community members to help us get as much exposure as possible. Acta Finance Is Looking For Marketing Talents

Earlier this year, the investors had a public voting in the ActaFi Telegram channels with as topic to go-to-market. Results were as followed:&nbsp;

The result supported the team’s decision to proceed to build the ActaFi Swap Liquidity Aggregator, Farming, Analytics pages, and the DAO program, prior to going to market.&nbsp;

The ActaFi DAO is the ecosystem’s on-chain voting platform. At the release of the DAO on ActaFi Testnet, the SAFT holders will be the first ones to experience a new DAO title: “Governor”. 

Governors will vote for operational decision-making, starting with the Go-To-Market of the ACTA Token. The success rate is TBD, by the ActaFi team, in order to execute the vote's outcome. At the time of writing, there are 171 SAFT holders.&nbsp;

The reason why we allow that voting on testnet:

1. The ActaFi DAO program on testnet does not consume assets, other than testnet AVAX for the gas, which can be acquired directly through the ActaFI Testnet. The SAFT holders will get whitelisted as initial Governors to vote for the ACTA Token to go-to-market.

2. Testnet is on-chain, making the voting fully transparent.

Apart from the DAO staking roles introduced by the whitepaper, the ActaFi DAO program introduces a 4th title named: Governor. Governors will get the exclusive authority to vote on operational decisions for the ActaFi Ecosystem..

Over time, the DAO Governors will replace the CEO’s single decision making and control the treasury. This means that our current CEO Christof Waton can focus on his core strengths business development and industry strategist.

"I am just an individual, and individuals have an opinion/vision. A single person’s decision and the opinion of 100% of the people. I'm not afraid of the authority of being a single decision-maker, but It's only fair in DeFi, and having a DAO program, to give operational decision-making to the people. With a trustworthy cap table, I am certain the decision-making for go-to-market is in good hands."

The ActaFi DAO smart contract is ready for review and further testing. The Staking smart contract fee distributions require polishing to follow the DAO reward system. 

We expect to start the Staking audit and DAO audit, provided by our partner Hacken.io, in 2 weeks from now. The agenda for resolving the outcome of the audit is unknown until the audit is performed.

The DAO decides the go-to market of the ACTA Token. There is no turning back from that point, so delivering the DAO to the testnet is in the queue by priority for MVP at Launch. 

The frontend developers are finalizing by end of the week the Analytics pages’ charts and integrating the Technical Analysis (TA) charts, TradingView licensed, on ActaFi Swap v2 - Liquidity Aggregator. The priority is as follows:

ActaFi DAO: Updates and Roadmap

This week we’ve been pushing multiple updates to the <a href="http://testnet.actafi.org">ActaFi Ecosystem Testnet</a>. Today we will talk about analytics pages, farming, pools &amp; tokens, and the liquidity aggregator that is now live on Avalanche testnet.

Our frontend developers have been working on the detailed tokens &amp; pools pages, as well as the implementation of the watchlist functionality.&nbsp;

The watchlist will enable users now to easily see and manage the tokens on their watchlist, as well as the pools in which they have added liquidity.

Development Updates

The ActaFi Ecosystem development is not affected by the bear market. With the upcoming release of the liquidity aggregator to the ActaFi Testnet, we dive deeper into the subject to help everyone understand the benefits of the liquidity aggregator.

A liquidity aggregator accumulates the liquidity from other (existing) AMM protocols, or swaps, to provide the best possible outcome for the trader. The AMM router calculates constantly the best possible trading route of direct liquidity, and indirect liquidity.&nbsp;

The direct liquidity aggregation only connects with the specific token pair liquidity pools, for example, ACTA - AVAX, on the integrated swaps to the aggregating engine.&nbsp;

Indirect liquidity aggregation is far more complex, but as a result, provides an enormous beneficial difference for the trader. The trading route uses steps in between to come to a better outcome, for example, ACTA - USDT - AVAX. The AMM protocol always routes the best potential outcome for the traders. On traditional swaps, such as TraderJoe and Pangolin, the user trades only to the liquidity pools that are set up within the platform, whereas with ActaFi Swap users trade with the liquidity provided on other swaps and routes both direct, and indirect, liquidity token pairs.

" Trading through a liquidity aggregator will always provide the best possible outcome for the trader, which is our goal. We started with a normal swap, like the Uniswap V2 model, and are close to releasing the ActaFi Swap upgrade, a liquidity aggregator, to the ActaFi testnet. Shortly after that, we will provide a module that reflects what the outcome would have been on other swaps within the Avalanche ecosystem, to provide transparency to the users on why ActaFi Swap is the best for the Avalanche Ecosystem."

We mentioned earlier that the ActaFi Swap aggregates the liquidity from other AMM protocols within the same network, currently Avalanche, so they don’t need to:

The ActaFi Swap v1 is an AMM protocol that provides the best possible trading route within the liquidity pools, hosted on ActaFi Swap. ActaFi Swap v2, the liquidity aggregator, provides the best possible trading route within the Avalanche DeFi ecosystem while having the internal liquidity pools (v1) also connected to the liquidity aggregator.

In the current market there are liquidity aggregators that have multiple networks integrated, such as 1inch. However, there are no liquidity aggregators that provide liquidity pools, or Farming pools, which would support liquidity growth on the Avalanche network.Besides the fact that the ActaFi Ecosystem is a complete DeFi suite, with multiple DeFi products, it’s an accidental innovation that we bring to the table that’s already filled with the other innovations Acta Finance develops.

The ActaFi Swap is the centerpiece of the ActaFi ecosystem and will get multiple significant updates:

With the liquidity aggregator arriving on the ActaFi testnet, we can structure the bounty campaign for mass testing, prior launching the ActaFi Swap to Avalanche mainnet as a stand-alone product, since it doesn’t require the ACTA token to be circulating.

The ActaFi products are EVM compatible, so releasing the ActaFi Swap to other EVM-compatible networks is being analyzed by the team as we speak to bring more exposure to the ActaFi Ecosystem and innovational products.
